Hello!
It's been such a long time since I last posted anything, I'm useless. I've been away a few times and I've been really busy and just never got round to writing anything, but I'm going to try and keep on top of it.
So, because I've just been away on two holidays in the space of a month, I thought I'd share with you where I've been, what I've been up to and how wonderful it was!

S T U C K on a birthday present?
Hey guys,
Do you have a family member/friend/boyfriend/girlfriend with a birthday coming up and you have no idea what to get them? Or they're just one of those people who constantly say "I'm not bothered", "Surprise me" or "I can' think of anything I need" when you ask them what they want for their birthday? I have an idea for you.
Does this person like days out/nights out/getaways? Can you really afford to spend a fortune? RedLetterDays is the perfect website with a variety of gifts for you to give to that certain person. From racing car experiences, to one night getaways to tours around a famous ground, this website pretty much has everything covered and the prices are beyond reasonable.
It's my boyfriend's 19th birthday today and after asking him several times what he wanted and getting the answer "I don't know", I decided to start searching on the Internet. We both love going away together, days out and exploring new places whether we've been there before or not, and that's when I remembered RedLetterDays. We both L O V E London and we've only been together once just after we got together, and we've been talking a lot recently about going back, so I bought him a View from The Shard and Lunch for two at a London restaurant. Also, my family bought him (which was my idea) a tour around Lord's Cricket Ground in London for two because he absolutely adores cricket (I can just tell I'm going to hate it however, haha). The best part about these gifts from this website is that from the date that you purchased them, the person who received that gift from you has exactly ONE WHOLE YEAR to book when they want to use their experience. It's hard to book a holiday or a break sometimes as everybody has different schedules with work/university etc, so this is the perfect way to book something special, yet have a whole year for them to book when they would like to go which is great for us as we're hoping to go for New Year.
You can get them specially wrapped when you checkout on the website, and they come in a lovely red box (I forgot to take a picture of what they look like before I gave them to him) which makes them look extra nice.
The website: https://www.redletterdays.co.uk/home?rmsrc=1&_$ja=tsid:34606%7Ccid:204108030%7Cagid:16426858110%7Ctid:kwd-70640541%7Ccrid:97420118790%7Cnw:g%7Crnd:11768493962633688319%7Cdvc:c%7Cadp:1t1&gclid=CjwKEAjwya-6BRDR3p6FuY2-u3MSJAD1paxTh_uxeZrGX2HoOYOxDuwUimXss0MhfHPiwFE0njXG2BoC9DDw_wcB

N E E D it but can't A F F O R D it?
Hey guys,
If any of you are like me, you spend your days on Instagram and blogs staring at the gorgeous items that the people are lucky enough to own, as well as clothing and make up hauls on Youtube. I also have an ample amount of bloggers on Snapchat, so all of their outfits/make up/literally everything gets me dreaming every day such as the likes of Sarah Ashcroft, Lydia Elise Millen (have you SEEN that shoe collection?!) and Victoria aka Inthefrow.. Of course, they have all worked extremely hard for what they have, and there's nothing better than seeing hard work pay off for somebody who has worked damn hard for it.
However, for the average person, these types of items aren't really within our price range, can I really afford to spend £600 on Chanel boots? Or £300+ on Dior sunglasses? Most definitely not. So, I've been searching on the Internet for lookalikes/dupes, and it's amazing what you can find that look pretty much the same, for prices that are MUCH more affordable. The only difference? The designer label.
I have a very long wishlist of designer items that I would love to own (but could NEVER afford in a million years), so I've been looking for items which are a pretty good match.
These "Dior So Real" sunglasses in Bleu Marine and Pink Gold are just so amazing, but the price is also spectacular at £370, so, after searching on the Internet for as little as one simple google search, I found some lookalikes.
Shop these sunglasses here: http://www.dior.com/couture/en_gb/womens-fashion/accessories/eyewear/dior-so-real-sunglasses-bleu-marine-and-pink-gold-6-15742?gclid=CjwKEAjwg6W6BRDn6v__7vzN9QkSJAC9l9C3t6EEvM4m7HZv2Mbd7bcO8HvhNdwtCRmqF-Y65Y0NKhoCSsHw_wcB
These AMAZING Valentino shoes are a must have, of course, but for the price of £630, they're a very expensive accessory to own, but of course, if you can afford them, then why not? However, of course, I cannot, so I searched online for a cheaper almost identical pair.

SUNGLASSES
Sunglasses are a big love for me. Every time I walk through Duty Free in the airport I'm automatically drawn to the sunglasses, and, despite the fact that they're duty free, the prices on the majority of them are terrifying.Dior "So Real" Sunglasses - Bleu Marine and Pink Marine |

Mystic River sunglasses - Free People |
As you can see, there's not really much difference between the two pairs of sunglasses. I mean, okay, it's not quite as satisfying as buying Dior sunglasses and having that glorious "CD"on the side of your glasses, but can you really complain when this similar pair are as cheap as $25?! (I apologise, I couldn't find a pair in GBP).

PRADA - Baroque Sunglasses |
These incredible PRADA sunglasses are £161.60 from John Lewis. Some of you may think that that's not a bad price for designer sunglasses (I agree), but think of it this way: how many pairs of sunglasses have you lost? How many have you sat on in the car because you forgot they were there? How many have adjusted to your head shape but then become too loose to fit? And THEN think about the price of them. However, if I was able to bring myself to spend such amounts on a pair of sunglasses, you know I most definitely would, because, let's be serious, they're incredible, but I know if I bought them I would be terrified to wear them.

FAKE PRADA Sunglasses |
These are a pair of fake PRADA sunglasses I found on Pinterest worth $30 (again, I couldn't find them in GBP). It's scary how alike these sunglasses are to the authentic ones, and these ones are still incredible, without that incredible price tag that comes with the authentic pair.
(I can't give the link to shop from as these, as I said, are just on Pinterest as replicas and do not have a website linked to them).
SHOES
Valentino Rockstud Leather Pumps |
These AMAZING Valentino shoes are a must have, of course, but for the price of £630, they're a very expensive accessory to own, but of course, if you can afford them, then why not? However, of course, I cannot, so I searched online for a cheaper almost identical pair.

FAKE Valentino Shoes |
Okay, so these aren't quite identical, that's a given, but they're a pretty good replica if you ask me. What's the difference? The difference is the hefty price tag and the satisfaction of being able to tell people that they're real. However, for an eBay bargain of £12.95, can you really go wrong? Probably not.
JACKETS
Now, there is one item of clothing which I absolutely adore, however I nearly had a heart attack at the price tag, but then again, what did I expect? I first saw this on model Chloe Lloyd's Instagram (if you don't know who she is then I suggest you search for her on Instagram because she is a solid 10), and I knew I was in love with something so expensive and something even millionaires should look at and question if the price tag is really worth it.
Gucci Hand-Painted leather biker jacket |
Here is the gorgeous Gucci Hand-Painted leather biker jacket, and of course it is a dream to look at, but with a price tag of a staggering £7440.00(!!!!!!!!!!!!) I think it's most definitely a dream which will never come true, but hey, at least it's nice to look at.
It's impossible to find any form of replica for something as amazing as this, and rightly so I think, because it would be impossible to create a knock off of something as amazing as this jacket.

P A Y D A Y
Hey guys, hope you're all having a great Friday!
So as if a bank holiday weekend isn't enough, it's also the last Friday of the month, which means PAYDAY. For someone like me who is saving for another car, payday is not something I can take for granted, no matter how much I am tempted, so here's just a quick look at the things I am dying to spend my money on and will try my hardest to resist.
ZARA:
I have been lusting over this shirt for so long. I adored the exact same one that had sleeves, but after seeing this one (and with summer coming up), I think this one is so much more suitable, and such a unique and gorgeous design.
Shop this shirt here: http://www.zara.com/uk/en/woman/tops/view-all/long-sleeveless-shirt-c719021p3534015.html
Another item I am dying to buy is this embroidered bomber jacket. Again, despite it being summer, the UK is never that warm, is it? And being a typical Brit, I always take a jacket with me wherever I go, even if it's 25 degrees outside (unlikely), and this is that perfect jacket to suit any look.

Another favourite of mine is this linen jumpsuit, so perfect for summer and for so many different occasions whether day to day or something for the night time, and the detail at the bottom of the leg is everything.
Shop this jumpsuit here: http://www.zara.com/uk/en/woman/jumpsuits/linen-jumpsuit-c399001p3351066.html
MISSGUIDED:
I've never found a shirt dress that is suitable for a night out (in my personal preference anyway) but this one just fits the bill. I'm so plain when it comes to dresses and I prefer everything to be a bit baggy too, so this is perfect

PUBLIC DESIRE:
Something that I did give in to just before payday are these lovely lace up shoes from the amazing Public Desire who I go to for all my last minute heels, and for just £14.99, how could I say no?

Thanks for reading and hope you all enjoy payday!

About Me
Hey guys!
So I thought I should probably explain a bit about myself (that sounds so cringey and big headed?).
I'm Liz, I'm 18 and I'm from Lancashire. I've always been so interested in blogs and people that run them, and I've tried before to start my own but given up, mainly due to the fact I'm always terrified what people are going to say and if they're going to laugh etc, but what's the point in that?
Just some images of where I live.
I chose not to go to University this year as, in all honesty, I had no idea really what I wanted to do. I feel as though when you're at college your teachers are constantly pestering you to apply, that some people just apply for the sake of it and end up doing something that they don't even want a career in. I do want to go at some point, maybe next year, and do something maybe journalism based? But we shall see what happens between now and then. In all honesty, I spend most of my free time at a university anyway. My boyfriend and my best friend both go to the same university, I know, how lucky is that. They both attend Lancaster university (which is so lovely), which is one of the top 10 universities in the UK (I'm pretty sure anyway), so I spend a lot of weekends there on nights out and things like that.
This is a picture we got from a photo booth in Lancasters favourite Sugarhouse, and yes, if you're wondering, that is a giant inflatable penis.
Disclaimer: if you could see me now, I look nothing like this, as I currently write this post from my couch in my joggers and hoodie, with my dog lying across me looking after my poorly self.
Meet Wilma, my absolute pride and joy. She's a year and a half and the most needy yet playful little thing you will ever meet.
I'm not sure what I'm going to write about yet, but I do know a lot of it will be holidays and places I like to visit, because who doesn't love a good day/night out?
(Hopefully) see you soon!

my first post.
Hi guys,
So, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, what I'm going to write or who is even going to read this (if anybody even will). I've always been interested in joggers, reading what they post, what they like, their Instagram accounts, Snapchat, anything, whether they write about fashion, make up or just something as simple as updates on their day to day life.
I don't for one second think that this will even interest anybody, but I just thought I'd have a go. What's the worst that can happen?
Living in fear of what people might say is a bit daft, but nonetheless effects millions of people every day, but what life is that to live.
So, please be patient because, as I said, I am absolutely clueless!
Thanks,
Liz x
